Absinthe: Revealed - Tastes and Truths

Absinthe event at AvantGarden, Houston, TX - December 5th/09

Our goal was to indroduce or expand the awareness of what true, fine absinthe is to our guests. We asked master distiller, Ted Breaux of Viridian Spirits and Jay Hendrickson, Hersaint historian to presnt the history of absinthes, dispel the myths, reveal what absinthe is. After the presentation the music started and the absinthe began to flow in traditional form and in a specially created cocktail menu. The Green Fairies appeared soon after.
